Our
store was established in 1939 in Victoria at the corner of Douglas and View
Streets. The original owner, Miss Frances Davis, sold the store to Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Hamilton in September of 1945. The Hamiltons operated the business
in downtown Victoria for 30 years, moving its location to Fort Street, then
to Johnson at Broad St.
In 1974 the store was purchased by Don and Judy Easton, who expanded the
Johnson Street location. In 1982 they moved to Pandora St., across from
Central Baptist Church. A move to Cook St. at Yates took place in August
of 1987. Most recently a new location has opened at 3082 Blanshard St.,
across from Mayfair Mall. Beautiful premises, expanded retail space, adequate
parking, and a more central location provide Victoria clientele a great
shopping experience.
Further business expansion took place in 1989 when a location was opened
in the city of Nanaimo. A site in Duncan was added in 1993.
Our Mission
To provide Christ-honouring product that will meet spiritual needs in our
community.
